Starting your own herpes organisation
The IHA has a proven formula and resources, which international herpes medical experts recognise as being valuable tools to help ensure that all people with genital herpes receive appropriate diagnosis, treatment and information. If the IHA's resources can be effectively distributed and used by medical and healthcare professionals around the world, then more patients will be better informed and empowered to seek appropriate management. The IHA also aims to help others set up herpes patient initiatives, herpes support groups and herpes resource organisations where such support is not readily available.
The IHA Training Manual has been produced as a training tool to offer practical guidance for medical and healthcare professionals, patients and the industry, who have identified a need for better patient management. It covers the resources available and the practical implementation of patient support initiatives as well as factors to consider along the way.
