regulators have approved Valtrex (valaciclovir) for suppressive therapy
to reduce the risk of heterosexual transmission of genital herpes. Valtrex
is the first and only drug proven to reduce the transmission of symptomatic
signs of a sexually transmitted infection from a person with herpes to
their sexual partner. Accordingly, this recent FDA approval has been hailed
